Listened through "Raw", the last album of the original ZZ Top band.
It really is as raw as it can get. Very good stuff, if you like that kind of raw blues sound.
Recently, I was suggested listening to Rachmaniov's Symphony Number 2, to better get into "classical orchestral music", as I call it.
I have heard it only once so far (certain kinds of music force the listener to consciously listen to the music), but I found already that it ... kind of sounds like a orchestral movie soundtrack to me. Of course that is no good decription of this kind of work, but solely regarding my own taste of music, I found now why I like this kind of music - especially "soundtrack music" like by John Williams - so much.
I need to listen more often consciously through it, in order to appreciate the composer's work.
