The ever-popular "Currently Listening" thread

I like finding interesting vocal performances, and I enjoyed this cover of Where the Streets Have No Name, in a Chris Cornell vocal style. That would definitely work down the pub.

I bought myself the other day the CD "Bananarama - Greatest Hits Collection". I just wanted to know what kind of music they did/made. Was surprised to find out that the now duo even published a new album this year !
If you want good "mindless" 80s-90s pop music, i can recommend that.

Next on my list to listen to is the double CD of "Various Artists Live At WOMAD 1982".

Due almost entirely to HiddenX's above post, this afternoon I spent some time reliving the very best of Siouxsie and the Banshees. Whatever album you pick, you simply cannot go wrong with these folk.
Oh, nice. Never heard of them. You got a link for that? ;)

I thought Pantera fell off a bit after the first two, but Vulgar Display of Power was a tough act to follow. It's still one of my all-time favorite metal albums.
