They're also developing another game that's described as an action-adventure with RPG elements. Similar style of trailer and released at the same time...

I had the same thought, especially since they're a newer studio with no prior releases afaict.

A cool premise but yeah, another soulslike, so not for me. I'm sure others will enjoy it.

Lord of the Ice Garden is the top notch book series, on par with Sapkowski's The Witcher, some would say it's even better.

However, I think it would be much better to create a "classic" cRPG based on this than a souls-like.
