I can access the content but I don't have the patience for it. Sounds like it lost enough market share or something.

I've turned checking in on Civ7's steam scores into a recurrence. 1 month after release it's still on 49-50% positive.
I know some people keep all Civs have this fate, but I'd love it someone with actual data can check on that. I'll need to find a video with someone doing the research.

Nod, introducing those inks/substances into our bodies could have series consequences. Especially when you read/hear how pervasive skin cancers currently seem to be.

It's notable because it's both a console exclusive and multiplayer focused which FromSoftware isn't known for. Hopefully it's not indicative of a shift in their core paradigm.

They're the best at what they do. I'd hate to see them suddenly start focusing on more conventional multiplayer games.

I was sort of excited for this, even with the caveat that is it a switch 2 exclusive. But then the news dropped that this is a PVPVE game, with up to 8 players. It doesn't sound like this is gonna be playable in singleplayer.
So that kind of killed it for me.

A bigger disappointment is to hear that Hidetaka Miyazaki is leading it. Instead of spending his time on a big cross-platform game.
But on the other hand, maybe it prods Sony out of their slumber? Seeing as the setting seems vaguely similar to Bloodborne. We'll see.

Speaking of the Switch 2 specifically, it's lukewarm for me. I may get it if I want to play through the great mario platformers, including the ones from Switch 1.
But the pricing Nintendo is coming out with is kind of insane. At least two of their 1st party games are 80 euros digital, and 90 euros physical. And hilariously, the physical versions might just contain a code you later use to download the game. :ROFLMAO:

It was also interesting hear Elden Ring and CP2077 will be shipped on Switch 2. I'll be very curious as to how those run on it. And what amount of visual downgrades they'll suffer to be made runnable.

The Switch 2 edition comes with the Switch 1 copy and an upgrade code. So basically a digital edition.

I used to love Nintendo's consoles, but I have zero interest in owning them nowadays. The Wii was the last one I purchased, and that was a big disappointment.

As far as the Switch 2 is concerned, I've seen only a single game I'm interested in (Metroid Prime 4: Beyond). Let's see how fast the Switch 2 gets emulated though. They had an emulator for the original Switch the same year it was released.

The Duskbloods does have a cool trailer at least. :)
