Things you might like to know.

There's some info about the CP2077 Switch 2 version. It's all on the memory card, compared to other Nintendo games.
And they're apparently demo-ing it at certain events. That sounds like they've confident enough about it. That's good news.

And it's gonna be 10 dollars cheaper than Mario Kart. :))

Yeah, I'm intrigued by Cronos: The New Dawn. I don't remember where I first saw it, but I've already had it wishlisted on Steam for awhile now.

I always hope for a solid lovecraftian mystery in these types of games. I hope it turns out to be something like that. It certainly looks interesting.
It has both space locations and derelict cities? Weird. But I think it might be explained as some sort of mental experience or something.

The James Webb space telescope has helped detect possible signs of life on an exoplanet again. There's a lot of uncertainties still, but it's always fun to hope and speculate:

I tried finding the research article but didn't. Anyone with the time to look a bit more for it?

Interesting. UE everything.
At least they seem to be expanding the gameplay mechanics as well in this case. I'm tired of seeing so many unnecessary remasters of games that are just a few years old. I wish we could see more of the classics getting that treatment instead.

Nice, I hope they manage to polish it up some more. I might try again with Clear Sky.

Got some notes.
Enhanced Edition Features:

● Atmospheric visual enhancements including God Rays, Dynamic Screen Space Reflections, and Advanced Global Illumination effects.
● Redesigned water shaders, upgraded skyboxes, and wetness effects.
● Improved visuals with upscaled textures featuring more detailed NPCs and environment.
● Upgraded weapon Field of View and models.
● Multiple bugfixes and quality of life tweaks.
● Full gamepad support.

I'm not sure what I'd do without that! ;)

Jokes aside, this is really cool. I'm surprised they're stealth dropping it like this though. Announcing it only 6 days before they release it? I hope it's not something they just slapped together real quick.

I also wonder if existing mods will work with the new versions. Probably not.

Yeah, I can't imagine aiming in such a game, with a gamepad.

I hope it's a good one. I also don't remember, were these remastered versions still running on the same engine?
Why am I thinking of UE5? Maybe I'm just confusing this with the Sinking City game, who's remastered version is indeed using UE5.

I don't think I used any mods in my recent playthrough, so I'm probably good on that.

Steam Data Breach

  • 89 million Steam account details available on dark web for sale, putting user accounts at risk.
  • Leakage traced to supply chain compromise, not direct breach of Steam or Twilio.
  • Those with 2FA enabled should be safe, others advised to change passwords for added security.
