I hope it's a good one. I also don't remember, were these remastered versions still running on the same engine?
Why am I thinking of UE5? Maybe I'm just confusing this with the Sinking City game, who's remastered version is indeed using UE5.
Maybe you're thinking of Stalker 2? That uses UE5. Afaik, the enhanced editions still use the X-Ray engine.

I'd never heard of it, but I don't pay much attention to VR games since I don't play them. I wonder how good it'll be without the VR. I'll definitely check it out since it's Alien.
Not a VR fan? Same… I prefer my horror games without the added risk of tripping over the coffee table mid-scare

I loved a few of the VR games, Half Life - Alyx being the absolute peak, but the horror sections were insane and I could not get past them. Especially fighting face crabs in the dark with only a flashlight on my wrist, while trying to reload my weapon since I missed the two shots I took. :ROFLMAO:

Unfortunately, this VR Alien game seems like it relies a lot on the VR factor, so moving it without any adaptation to a non-VR medium seems like it's leaving it a bit lackluster. But we'll see.

I have never been a fan of the games or developer so no strong opinions from me.

Still this is one reason why I hate remasters of older games. They get censored.

Interesting. They're adding a Sekiro-like character into Nightreign. I'm more and more tempted to get it, and maybe attempt to solo it.
But I think I'll rather let others try that, and after we get confirmation that it's doable without too much of a hassel, then get it. But it might be that it's just not solo-able.
Even though they said you can play it solo. We'll see. There might be a disconnect between what they're saying and what we're getting.
But it's definitely looking interesting.

Hm, seems they do give solo-play consideration. I thought it was an afterthough, for the more masochistic of players, but from this recent interview (with the game director) it sounds like it's officially a supported way to play.

So it sounds like they just gave me the reason to support them.

If you're not into multiplayer-focused games, I don't see how this is a reason to support it. It's still built primarily for co-op. Being "playable" solo doesn't really mean much.
I was honestly looking for any reason to support them. Just as a studio, they've probably become my favorite overall developer.
And there also seems to be some narrative context to the missions; probably more for flavor. So there could be something there. Will have to see what it turns out to be.

Sure, but just keep in mind that the more people who purchase it the more likely their next game might also be multiplayer-focused.

True, but they could also diversify even further. It was through supporting singleplayer games that they diversified into multiplayer games. The wider the net the healthier they are as a company and the bigger chance we get more of everything.

Why can't people accept certain games will not get a PC port.:rotfl:

Let me know if Sony ever ports or develops an RPG which I doubt they ever will.
