Cloudheim is now available in Early Access!

Hello Runari,

Today marks a big moment for the team here at Noodle Cat, as Cloudheim finally releases into Early Access! If you've participated in past playtests, played the demo, reported a bug in-game, left feedback in our Discord, or even just saw the game in a video and shared it, it means a lot to us as a growing studio sharing our first project to the world.

What's New Compared to the Demo
In the demo, you’re able to progress right before Act III of Arcadia. With Early Access release, in addition to all of Arcadia, you'll unlock the entirety of islands Duslanger, Greenvor, and Frostvaldr — each with their own questlines to complete, new dungeons to explore, and quirky enemies to face. While on Odin Shell, you'll have access to more upgrades and craftable options as you build out your base in the skies.

What Early Access Means for Us
Of course, this launch is just the beginning. We decided to go into Early Access as we knew there was still so much more we wanted to do. Expect plenty of bug fixes and content updates, all fueled by reports and feedback left by you, our players. (And make sure to use the in-game bug reporting option when doing so!)

Whether you're a longtime playtester or just joining us, we want to welcome everyone to this colorful, silly world we've built with Cloudheim. Feel free to explore all the islands. Kick walls down for some secret treasure. Launch greebles off a cliff (very important).

What’s in the Demo

• 15 playable characters with an additional skin variant each
• The full tutorial experience — meet Sylf and save Gnasher!
• Establishing your base on Odin Shell
• Arcadia, the first island in the game, along with Acts I & II of the main questline
• Four class playstyles: Runeblade, Breaker, Sentinel, Ranger
• Dozens of unlockable weapons, skills, and plenty of loot to discover

This demo includes the early portions of the game, giving you a taste of Cloudheim’s combat, exploration, and crafting systems. You can play solo or online co-op up to 4 players.

I’ve seen a lot of commentary online about Cloudheim being a funky Zelda variant. Personally, I’m getting Fortnite vibes. There’s a version of Cloudheim, maybe still somewhere down the line, where all the pieces click. A vibrant, physics-driven co-op survival-crafting ARPG where combat feels reactive, exploration is dynamic, and chaos becomes strategy. But based on this early beta build, I’m not sure we’re there yet.
