Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remaster Review

Despite having a bit of a disappointing sequel, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a JRPG that has already established itself as a classic in the genre. The game's breathtaking style, touching story, and intuitive combat system all helped make it a worldwide major hit when it launched nearly a decade ago. With all that in mind, it's no surprise that so many new and old RPG fans are excited to revisit the original Ni no Kuni on modern consoles and PCs.

After many fans were left disappointed by the 2018 sequel, this remaster is sure to remind the community why the original 2010 release was so beloved. The remaster is a great reminder of the potential that the series had and hopefully any future iterations of Ni no Kuni return to this winning formula and bring back the story, cinematics, and combat system that all come together to help make Wrath of the White Witch a modern classic.

The first Ni no Kuni game finally comes to the PC and will release on September 20th. And today, Bandai Namco released the launch trailer for Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered.

As the publisher has noted, this remaster retains the same dynamic fight system combining real-time action and turn-based tactical elements. Moreover, it features the dozens of locations and hundreds of creatures that comprise the vast universe of Ni no Kuni.

@JustPushStart Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered has officially been announced for PC and Consoles. The game will release September 20th.

Bandai Namco officially announced today, following a leak several days ago, that Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch remastered is indeed coming and will be released for PS4 and Steam- with the Switch version getting just the port of the original release.

Both titles will be released worldwide on September 20. For the PS4 and Switch version, there will be both physical and digital versions.

In the Remastered version of Ni no Kuni, fans can look forward to an enhanced version where it will feature enhanced graphics, while the non-remastered Switch version is simply just a port of the original release.
