Sierra Ops - New Battle System Poll

by Couchpotato, 02:15

The Indiegogo page for Sierra Ops has news of a new Battle System Poll.

For the current battle system , do you prefer top down view or side view?

You can vote at the forum poll and see the main differences:

http://innomenpro.com/forums/index.php?topic=1093

You can reply at the forums for further thoughts about the change, or send us an email at jason.m.cheng@gmail.com or using the website contact form.

We need your feedback as soon as possible, as we can't wait for too long to implement this change, and this would also determine how we'll work with the 500$ ship backers' ships as well as the 150$ ships.

Updates:

Common Route is technically done, Youko has been working on the alternate dialogs for it for the NG+.

We also have two new Ares characters, Executive Delegate R. Maximilien and Executive Delegate Sigurd Ottmar IV. They're both found at the bottom of the character list at: http://innomenpro.com/sierra-ops/characters/

We're also switching from the overworld/sector selection mode to a purely huge mission map (similar to Venus) which will represent the entirety of Earth's Orbital Space, as it's more fitting to the way the events are executed.

The next beta will be around March 1-15 (can't promise an exact date), and it will contain the new common route scripts, overworld system and the decided battle system.

Sierra Ops - Beta v1.0 released

by Couchpotato, 04:14

We covered Sierra Ops as part of a crowdfunding game roundup last year. So just in-case you have forgotten about the game like me here is a short recap, and video.

loading...

Play as the Captain of the Sierra, one of the strongest battleships in the first interplanetary war. Features real-time space battles & consequence-driven events.

The good news is the game finally has a beta version to play.

We have released the first beta build (out of five), and we are happy to say that it is a lot stable and playable than the previous. Let's just say the engine's probably 95% done!
