Gods & Heroes looks ready to capitalize on the current craze for ancient environments sparked by games like the God of War series, and cinema pieces like 300 and HBO’s Rome. Granted some of those titles deal more with ancient Greece and Sparta, I doubt the average gamer will be a stickler over historical facts that would inhibit gameplay and Perpetual seems to agree. By melding cultural, historical, and mythological attributes from ancient Greece and Rome, Gods & Heroes looks ready to create a world that is both instantly familiar and amazingly new.
