Game Arts is a Japanese video game software developer located in Tokyo. It was founded on March 2nd, 1985. The company has produced a number of games in several genres, beginning with the action game Thexder (1985) for personal computers. Its president is YÅichi Miyaji.
Their most popular video game franchises are the role-playing series Lunar and Grandia.
Early games developed by the company were usually published in Western countries by Sierra. Working Designs is responsible for translating many of their role-playing games and releasing them in the West.
