Priest
A priest is a lousy fighter but a great healer. The priest
can cast healing spells, which might come in handy. Beside that
the priest can also cast other spells, both defensive and offensive.
Other party members
You can not become a priest in Torment, so there is no reason
discussing the reasons why you should or should not become one.
When you look at the possible party members than they have the
following classes:
Annah - Fighter/Thief
Dak'kon - Fighter/Mage
Fall-from-Grace - Priest
Ignus - Mage
Morte - Fighter
Nordom - Fighter
Vhaillor - Fighter
As you can see there can be only one priest party member. The
main reason to tag her along in your party is her healing powers.
With her you can heal yourself or your party members when the
going gets tough. Having a priest in your party can benefit
the party a lot, but you should take care that she does not
engage into combat too much, because she is easy to hit.
Relevant Statistics
The following lists the statistic categories and there relevance
to the priest class in order of importance.
Intelligence - Let's the priest learn more spells
Wisdom - Gives more higher level spells at a lower experience level
Dexterity - This makes the priest harder to hit
Constitution - Aids in hitting the opponent.
Strength - Gives better chances to hit the opponent
Charisma - The priest is not the leader so an average value here should do
Experience
During the game the priest can gain experience points. When the number of experience points that the priest has increased beyond a predefined threshold the priest can advance to a new level. This gains her extra hitpoints.
The table below shows the experience needed to advance to the next level and the number of hitpoints received.

To increase the maximum hit points an 8 sided dice is
thrown. This results in the priest getting 1 to 8 extra hitpoints.
The dice is thrown upto 9 times, depending on the level. The
priest then receives the maximum of the thrown dices.
Starting with level 10 the total thrown number of the dices
is increased with a fixed number.
Spells
A priest has the ability to case several priest spells of a
certain level. The level of a spell a priest can cast depends
on her experience level. The following table gives an overview
