Personal tips
In playing the game some tips might just come in handy. Before you go on, be aware that some of these tips might contain some spoilers.
The following lists my own tips.
Tip 1
Whenever you are having a tough fight with a large number of opponents
and can not win, then you can use the following strategy.
First let the thief in your party go into stealth mode and scan
the part of the area you are interested in. The thief is then
able to detect the enemies without being detected herself (assuming
Annah is the thief here). Then let the thief take a position in
such a way that only one enemy is visible (or the amount of enemies
that you think you can handle). Make sure that the rest of your
party is on a save distance and then let the thief go out of stealth
mode. The visible enemies will then spot the thief and will immediately
attack. All other enemies will not (if you don't see them, they
don't see you).
Then let the thief walk or run back to the rest of the party.
Together you should than be able to kill the visible enemies.
Repeat this as much as you like to kill all of the enemies.
Tip 2
If you want the Nameless One to level up faster, then you might
consider to remove your party members every now and then before
you get the experience points. This will give the points only
to you.
Tip 3
Whenever you leave an area you have to take your party members
with you. In Baldur's Gate, when you tried to leave an area without
your party being complete, you would hear the words: "You
must gather your party before venturing forth" and you would
have to gather your party before going to the next area. In Torment
whenever a partymember exits an area all selected partymembers
automatically also move to that area, independent of their current
position.
You could then let the thief go into stealth mode while leaving
the other party members on a save location. Then the thief can
travel to the next area, without being spotted by anyone. All
other partymembers will join the thief automatically in the next
area without having to fight.
