Lingering Thugs

The Dead Dabus (AR0401)

From the Tenement of Thugs you enter the Alley of lingering thugs. Here you meet Sybil again that hands you a green gemstone (1000 View Larger ImageXP). In the centre of the area there is a house (AR3005C), inside there is a dead Dabus lying on the floor. Take his hammer because you'll need it later. Investigate the body of the Dabus and learn that he is death because he was locked inside the house (1000XP). You need to do this because otherwise you can not adcance in the game.

The pregnant Alley (AR0405)

Go to the SE part of the area. There is a gate which leads to the Pregnant Alley. In it there is a talking wall here that starts talking to you when you approach it. The wall knows you and you can regain some memories here. The wall creature is 'pregnant' and wishes to 'divide', but a Dabus is continuously making repairs that inhibit that. He wants you to remove the Dabus. Before you do that talk to Annah about finding your body (2500XP).

The hammering Dabus

Now locate the Dabus and tell him about the death Dabus in the house. He will investigate it and get locked inside the house, together with his dead friend.

Divide!

Go back to the talking wall and tell him about what happened (11500XP). He still can't divide yet, so he wants you to undo the repairs that the Dabus has made. There are two parts in the Alley of lingering Thugs that you can investigate (a question mark appears). You will have to use the prybar on one and the hammer on the other. Once that's complete go back to the talking wall and tell him that (16250XP).
Watch the animation of the dividing process and get moved to the next area, the lower ward.
