Cyberpunk 2077
That's a surprising amount of tweaks, and some of them are pretty cool.

Added an option to mark weapons as Favorite, so that selling, disassembling or dropping them is locked
I wish more games had an option like that.

UI panel's Up/Down and Left/Right keys are now rebindable to adapt to AZERTY and QWERTZ keyboards.
And they're even paying attention to people who have those weird keyboards, like @Redglyph ;)

The marketing is milking every little ounce of improvement. No mention left behind.

But even with all this I'm having strong indecision of whether to resume my CP2077 playthrough or start my BG3 one.
I guess I've fallen prey to the hype that both games have recently rustled up.

Considering how starkly different they are, I'd think that'd be a pretty easy decision. Just go with the setting and gameplay that you're more in the mood for.

So pumped again lol. I love their vids. Great music and I love new bikes to ride and the music add-on. This game gets better and better!

Working on the basis that time heals all wounds (well, time and a hell of a lot of patches), I finally took the plunge back into Cyberpunk 2077 over the year-end holidays, and found myself enthralled by Night City – just as I’d fervently hoped I would be three years ago when the game originally launched.
Games like Cyberpunk should never be taken as an example of how a weak game at launch can find its feet later on. They are sobering lessons in how much time and resources are required for that to happen.

Funny little thing found in the game that's related to the drama of releasing the game...

Cyberpunk was delayed twice with 91 days left until release. They had some sort of countdown going that got stuck at 91 just before the announcement was made. The game eventually released on November 19th.

Ah shit. Here we go again ... :ROFLMAO:

I just hope they can deliver a game on the same scope as CP2077 but at the state it's in 2.1 on release day. If they can do that I am more than happy.
Since I'm clearing the NCPD encounters I am discovering just how absolutely gynormous the map is. If they can do it again but with even more depth I am happy.
I do wonder if they'll place the sequel in the same Night City. They should make the same city again but give it even more depth and explorable areas.

Not surprised as Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to have an online mode as well, but that was scrapped. There was even a cancelled MMO at one point as well.

I'm not interested in either but given comments online many are.

I don't know the ending yet and may not know what I'm asking, but I would be fine with the game happening in Night City again, some years later. Basically, pull the Yakuza thing of playing in the same city every game, with different towns/locations added as extra areas every game. Maybe the next game could be Night City + Crystal Palace, for instance, then Night City + someplace in Japan for the third, and so on. Night city is already HUGE, so we don't need big places.

Whatever the case, I hope we get to follow up on the Peralez quest. (That's the one where, in the end, you find out about a conspiracy that is taking over Mr. & Mrs. Paralez's minds and put a stop to it.)

It's not a conspiracy it's rouge A.I free from the Blackwall.
