Fallout: New Vegas - PC Version Patched

The v1.2 patch for Fallout: New Vegas has hit Steam - this was a ~250Mb update for me.

I've heard it's large because it has to replace the master file or something. On PSN it was ~20mb.

250mb isn't uncommonly large for a patch in this day and age.

Has anyone heard if the new patch creates conflicts with mods? Namely the mods that change the gameplay, like weapon repair and ammo crafting mods (as the patch addresses weapons and crafting) and other "realism" mods. Also, how has the hardcore mode been affected by this patch (patch notes say it's been addressed, but not how)?

Walking into Sunset Sasp. crates is really annoying
