If the story was true about all the dvds being damaged during shipping, why not just announce it, instead of have this information spread by word of mouth? Why Not? Because I think the story is a complete fabrication. An attempt to not looks so bad. Most likely some suit type told them the game was going to lose money so they cut their loses. If Southpeak had true gamers working there, this whole mess would not have happened.
While the Steam offer is attractive, it's going for full price (49.99) with out a manual and for a game that is more than 2 months old. GoGamer still has the Euro version for 39.99, with of course the paper manual.
I apologize to all for all my rants on this game. But I was one of the few gamers that really liked the original 2 worlds. And I was one of the few who readily admitted to liking the game. I even went out and pre ordered the sequel. I even posted last year my most anticipated games for 2010 were 1) 2Worlds2, 2)Arcania and 3)Fallout Vegas. So the delays were a huge disappointment and the cancellation has crushed me.
Okay, I'm not gonna do something stupid, but when most of your gaming time is spent playing single player RPGs, and when, in a gaming sense, you live from RPG to RPG. And when you are teased and tempted mercilessly by a game you hungered for so long, well . . .
It's off to the gym. I have a boxing session on Sunday. Man oh Man I can't wait for that. I think I'll take the family to see "Tangled" this evening. I liked that movie the first time I saw it.
