Gauntlet - Hands-On Preview @ Ausgamers

Ausgamers had the chance to play the new Gauntlet HD at GDC 2014, and decided to share their opinion of the game in a new hands-on preview.

Gauntlet is coming back for another go, this time courtesy of publisher Warner Bros and Swedish indie studio Arrowhead with a currently PC exclusive title for both Windows and SteamOS. At the recent GDC expo in San Francisco, AusGamers man on the ground, Nathan Lawrence had a chance to go hands-on with some couch co-op multiplayer and came away reasonably impressed:

Funny, the reviewer ask himself "since when was Elf a class?", I guess he never heard of D&D first edition.

Would be nice if you could toggle off "boss" encounters, since they weren't included in the original. Otherwise, it seems pretty faithful... wait a minute, they didn't say anything about spawners.
