I'm not feeling it, I feel it lacks personality and colour. Not important if the gameplay is good though, and I'll probably buy it anyway

There's not a lot to learn from HoMM screenshots to be perfectly honest. The games are all about gameplay and overall feeling. They either feel right or they don't.
