Sad news from Austria: Cliffhanger Productions, the developer behind Shadowrun Chronicles: Boston Lockdown, had to file for insolvency. Support and ongoing development will be provided by their sister company Cliffhanger Productions Games GmbH. It's possible at least some of the employees will be moved over.

Oh, that's bad news, especially if you hoped for regular updates on the Shadowrun game...

Also next to JA: Flashback a bad sign for tactics games (though what I heared about chronicles also didn't sound that exciting).

This was exactly why I was hesitant to buy the game. Alas, I didn't expect them to roll over that quickly...
Maybe I'll have another look when they remove the always online requirement. Though, I think they might be legally obliged to keep it a "MMO", because of the license they have. I think Harebrained has the single-player license.
