The crafting stretch goal was a good idea. But bringing in as many writers and designers as possible doesn't strike me as something that really improves the core experience - if the game is boring, who cares about more dungeons?
Todd Camasta maybe? Kurt Heiden? Larry Holland? Just a couple of wild guesses to throw out there.
