The pre-alpha version is looking good already. I love micro management.

Not too impressed yet as there wasn't really anything shown which felt superior to the previous one. The map didn't look very sexy and the group management when camping wasn't really a strength in the previous game either, as you always did it the same way. But let's see what newer versions bring to the table.

It was a pre-alpha version on a resolution that is not perfectly supported yet.
Gameplay is important not graphics!

Well, they mentioned that it's going to be a section of England. And it seemed like due to the scale they changed to a more abstract version than they did in the first game.

While you traveled around "in the world" in Conquistador, it seems like now you are traveling "on a map" if that makes sense.

And the map seemed pretty dull. Completely independent on whether or not these are the final graphics.

If however this was a pure placeholder (as if they just had put in a pink screen) then, yeah, my impression might change. But if they just improve the graphics - which I don't really care about, I don't think I will be impressed by the map.
