It's week two of Pixel Dynamo's Best Mods series for Fallout 4. This week, we're given Daedric Power Armor, Doritos RadAway, and Steve Buscemi eyeglasses. Score?

Honestly I've expected huge game overhauls and now I see...
Dunno if I should cry or laugh. Maybe the best is to do both at the same time.

Never understood the need for visual mods, gameplay mods is what makes bethesda games worth my time, not visual ones.

Heh I am the opposite. Seldom use game play mods (except for a few that add to immersion without changing any core mechanics) and always go for the visuals. Nice looking power armor.

Have to disagree, every single one of them fits in the world.
Fallout games are IMO supposed to be silly and absurd. :)

As always, the modding community has determined the most pressing concern is that people aren't wearing enough hats.

Well, we have a mods thread, but the more the merrier:

Crpgnut's list of recent mods that don't suck and/or offer something new!

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6060/? An Alternate Start mod that starts you off in Diamond City after leaving vault 111. You have just purchased a home for 2000 caps from stuff you looted from the Vault.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6053/? Craftable Elevators for your settlements!

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5118/? Alternate Settlements. Changes carpets, walls, flags, etc., to give a different look to your settlements.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6123/? Someone has created a new plant that grows adhesive:

A completely new plant, that you can plant at the cost of 1 mutafruit, 1 corn and 1 tato. You can harvest 1 adhesive component direct from it. It count only 0.2 for the settlement food ratio each plant, so a single settler can take care of 30 Plants. Also it can be plant nearly everywhere where a floor is, it dont have to be dirt.

I'm not starting the game until they release a decent basic survival mod that requires you to eat and sleep. I've just played too many hours of modded F3, NV and Skyrim to enjoy anything less. As for the mods to improve visuals, I just can't be bothered with anything like that.

We wont see any great mods till Bethesda releases the mod kit next year. Hopefully you don't have to use their new online portal to upload, and install mods.

For now I just use the nexus installer/site with some IN. file editing.
