From a financial perspective though, it would make perfect sense to not share 12 per cent revenue with Epic Games or 20 per cent with Valve. The lower percentage for Valve was cited as there is no reasonable doubt at this point that Cyberpunk 2077 will earn more than $50 million.
CD Projekt Red apparently decided to forego potentially higher revenue on their own store in favour of keeping their game accessible through as many platforms as possible. A simple inquiry on Facebook
revealed that they don't have any intention of making Cyberpunk 2077 exclusive to any store, including GOG.
