Genshin Impact Version 2.1 releases in September with new characters and islands
Genshin Impact fans will be pleased to hear that Version 2.1 of the massively successful free-to-play action RPG releases on September 1. Developer miHoYo made the announcement today and released a trailer to give fans a taste of what's to come.
Version 2.1 of
Genshin Impact will conclude the epic main story that has been playing out on the recently released Inazuma region. It will also add a wealth of new content, including two more major islands, three new playable characters, as well as a series of seasonal events celebrating the game's first anniversary.
On top of all that, players will also receive Aloy, from
Horizon Zero Dawn, for free. She will be a five-star character. And all you need to do to get her is reach Adventure Rank 20 in Version 2.1 or 2.2. Aloy is a crossover character, and she marks the beginning of cross-save as a feature in
Genshin Impact. You will be able to hop between PC, PlayStation, and mobile to enjoy your adventures.
