This one is so weird. What are they thinking with the name change. This'll just add to the confusion and make it harder to identify. Weird choice.

Not very interested in this. I played the first one (didn't finish but advanced it quite a bit) and and found it quite mediocre to be honest, although I liked the environment and graphic style. I found combat meh and character development simple. I remember there were also a few weapons that could benefit heavily from the magic stats, making a bit useless to create any other kind of character.
I have no experience at all with this kind of souls-like games though, so I have no reference.

Different developer and another Souls-like so I'll pass. 
I've been softening my stance on Souls-like's recently so might buy this on a sale.
