It kinda... looks like shit? I mean, yeah, the world is fairly beautiful, but it seems empty as hell. It's looking Assassin's Creed if it was emptier but with flying brooms.

It's a Harry Potter game. I highly doubt you're going to be roaming the world, looking for adventure. Much more likely you'll spent much of your time at Hogwarts, and pick up missions/quests that send you to various parts of the world where there will, in fact, be things to do.
