Good game but my opinion still stands it's my least favorite due to how the campaign and story was handled. Good thing I enjoy 4X games so I can overlook that.
Given it was the best selling of the series this version is the future.
There was also a new roadmap shared on my news-thread.

We'll see as the main area getting nerfed we be the amount of tomes.
Basically the amount spells you can use from each element will be lowered. The developer claims players are cheating and to overpowered near the endgame.
It makes sense though as similar games like Master of Magic limit spells as well.
