Seems like a grounded review which is rare from PC Gamer nowadays. I've only played the demo, but that score sounds fair. Elden Ring sort of ruined soulslikes for me though.

Currently playing this. I'm still not past how far I played in the demo so I can't comment on anything beyond that content, but I don't think 74 is a bad score for this game. Assuming that a 74 means good.

If Bloodborne is a 10, and Dark Souls (average on the whole series) a 9, a 7.5/10 isn't that far off. But I could bump it to a 8/10 if the story turns out good (as people are saying). Or a 9 if the story truly impresses.
