I can't believe RoboCop: Rogue City is on so many "Best-of" lists.
Easily the worst game I tried this year, refunded after 30 minutes.
Poor cheesy graphics and lame gunplay, avoid if you can...

Well your the minority and it's what I call a you problem. I know everyone has different tastes but reviews were good both players and professional. I haven't played it.

1) Starfield

Starfield is not a great game AT ALL ... having it as #1 in a year where Baldur's Gate 3 exists is immediately laughable. I mean, Starfield is a fine, adequate, average Bethesda game that leans heavily into all of their worst tendencies. But spend 5 minutes in a Starfield city compared with Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty and if you are anything but laughing at Starfield ... you're lying.

Yep Starfield was a huge dissapointment but I enjoyed playing it. I've said it before a smaller galaxy and more handcrafted worlds would have made it a better game.

Might derserve third place at best as I'm biased but not the top spot.

Hogwarts Legacy is way too high there imo. Maybe I'm just biased because I don't care for the IP, but I did try the game and didn't see anything special about it. I'm guessing some of those people at GamingBolt are Harry Potter fans.

'Rage farming' is more effective way of gathering clicks than an honest and accurate list. Sorta like the old saying "the best way to get a correct answer on the internet isn't to ask a question but to post a wrong answer pretending it is correct!"

I agree - not a fan of the IP, and in keeping with pretty much every other game ever made based on the IP it has a couple of things that make for interesting gameplay which are exhausted rapidly and ... well, that's it. Not terrible but definitely not a top game.

I like the IP but I'm fussy about the DRM, otherwise I would have bought it. My kids used to watch all the movies and play the video games (I had to play the difficult or scary bits), so some of it must have rubbed off.
