One thing you can count on is the abundance of JRPGs released every year.

Last year was a good as well. Not all games were good though.

With the exception of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Dragon's Dogma 2, which I don't consider to be a JRPG, I'm fine with missing just about all of those.

I'm interested in:

FFVII: Rebirth, obviously. I'm playing it now.

Infinite Wealth: can't really justify it yet, since I already own a bunch of unplayed games by that studio, but eventually

Eiyuden Chronicles: a wait and see, but nostalgia for Suikoden (1&2) dictates that I give it a look

Metaphor: ReFantazio: dumb name aside, if it's a fresh take on the Persona formula (which I've gotten bored of), it could be interesting

Unicorn Overlord: another dumb name which I'm betting has no bearing on the game whatsoever, but I'm hearing solid things about it so far and I (potentially) like tactics based JRPGs
