I feel bad whenever a team attempts to develop anything superhero team-based because they have to go up against Freedom Force.

Yeah that's a hard line to toe right there, Freedom Force and City of Heroes got a lot right in the genre.

I wish City of Heroes would come back (as a commercial MMO, not as a grey-market fan emulator project). My wife and I played it a lot, all the way up until NCSoft shut it down.

Yup, City of Heroes was a fun game, although I've dropped out of mmo's these days, that's one I still miss, along with Vanguard.
