Chinese and not japanese, Quan Zhi Gao Shou (The King's Avatar) is probably the biggest surprise of the season:

What's it about? Honestly? This:
This anime series spits on the last Mission Impossible movie and similar paid to advertise mushrooms crap. At the same time, it tries to describe how exactly esports scene works, sadly it doesn't go deep enough if you ask me.
We're seeing it from one "normal" pro player perspective, the sad truth is that the scene is full of ragers, ragequitters and abusers, but the show producer, Tencent, is the major shareholder (or perhaps total owner) of Riot Games so they just wouldn't bless filming of something like that.
Animation is hit and miss, some scenes feel superexpensive, some dirty cheap and many, sadly, repeat. If not for that, I'd call this a mustwatch, sadly I just can't.
3 episodes left till the end so the only question is where to watch.
Tencent has it's youtube channel, and while their anime integrates chinese subtitles (probably for hearing impaired), the channel has english captions included. Yes, it's legal stream:

Till we see a movie about current superstar Faker, or perhaps more interesting about past overrated pros like Ocelot, give this anime a shot.

Additional note. The MMO in anime doesn't exist, but is actually in the works, here's CGI trailer:
No, of course you won't be playing it, it'll be yet another grinder.
