The player had to switch between Geralt and Ciri a few times, without any prior warning and without any choice. Ciri was only half-cooked in terms of abilities so playing as her was a little annoying. That feature was badly implemented overall, fortunately it wasn't too often.

I honestly don't remember that at all. Unless, it was near the beginning when she was jumping on logs? As a tutorial? I loved the game, so you'd think I'd remember this.

LOL, I'm currently playing Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood RIGHT NOW. Not an RPG, obviously, but still a pretty good game.
