I hope it's good. I loved Caesar 3. But it'll never be on that level. It's probably gonna be a diluted ubisoft game.
But I see that at least part of the devs are from Blue-Byte, the ones that handled Anno 1800. So maybe ... not really.

Anno 117 was revealed on-stage by developers Ubisoft Mainz - one third of series devs Ubisoft Blue Byte - during tonight’s Ubisoft Forward showcase.

I haven't played ANNO 1800 but I was a fan of Anno 1404 and Anno 2070.

From what I played it seems the series doesn't change all that much.

They also recently shipped a watered-down version of the Settlers. From what I hear nothing like the classical games, but they've been pumping those out.

Yep it was called The Settlers: New Allies and it's not rated well.

I used to play those as well but after the sixth game lost interest.

This new Anno game is new to me. I read this for the very first time.

The Settlers 3 was obviously the best one (no one can tell me otherwise ) Anno 1602 was a great game for ages. I was shit at it and still loved it. The music is some of the best ever too and the soundtrack is available on the Tubes
