Assassin's Creed - Next Game in China?

Really.
Tencent is an entertainment media company. They have stakes in some videogames studios, but they don't develop games.
Their interest is not videogames only, they have produced the first ever esports animated series then later it's live version - both were enormous hit.
So far outside of china I have not seen shows like:

I have covered the animated version in the anime thread back i the day and IIRC I even posted links on the official tencent channel where you can watch it for free with english subs.

Each new show does not clone others as it's not Hollywood.
Instead it offers something more, for example Crossfire integrates scifi into the mix so if you are interested, it's officially streamed by youhug media on youtube and is free with eng subs:

Of course one of production companies is - Tencent again. Tencent Penguin Pictures to be precise.
