Beamdog - Icewind Dale II Enhanced Edition?

I liked what I saw of ID2, but the pathfinding was so horrible ———— WORSE ———— than ID1, that I gave up.

I've enjoyed all the EE stuff to date, though I'm not sure I'd put a lot of time IWDII: EE if it ever got made. I consider it the worst of the Infinity Engine games by a fair margin. I especially disliked the XP scaling that gave smaller parties a much bigger disadvantage than in any of the other IE games. Also, I wasn't a fan of the weird 3rd edition system they used (NWN was better, but also a bit off; NWN2 was probably the first and only game that really nailed it from my point of view).

I saw that IWD2EE mod has been released. It also adds NPCs with dialogues and all!!
