Just an FYI: The review contains major spoilers for anyone who hasn't played it yet.

I remember being pretty disappointed when it was released due to certain expectations on my part. I was hoping for spiritual successor to System Shock 2, and Bioshock is far from that.

I'd say it's still a very good game though as long as you go in expecting a shooter with a story and nothing more.

1-2 years then it's fair game, as spoilers never bothered me, but it seems it does others. I remember a former member who was pissed I spoiled Dragon Age ten years later.:D

Okay, serious question: How old does a game have to be before we can openly talk about it, spoilers included?

1) Space Invaders era
2) BioShock era
3) Something else newer than 15 years
If it's something with a major plot twist, I think it's common courtesy to use spoiler tags regardless of how old it might be.

A courtesy warning is enough.

If you put off a game again and again for years, then click on a video about it, well...

For an I-Sim lite like bioshock, hearing about it would perhaps be more fun to actually playing it anyway.
