Cat 4 now but bigger. I wonder if that's because it's moving so slow? All those clouds will cool down the water eventually.
The northern Bahamas have had this hurricane sitting on them for two days now!!
Plus many hours as it came in, plus many hours as it left. The wind must have been like having small tornadoes sitting on everybody's driveway for the day!Grand Bahama island looks to be toast after the hurricane stalled right on top of it for 24 hours. Large chunks of the island are underwater. Yeesh.
The rain certainly comes and goes. It can look lovely outside, skies are blue and clear.
