The old trope of old famous developers never replacating their success.
Not being mean just my observation after various crowdfunding projects.
There's always an exception to every rule and situation in life. Just like how stats show most people will act and do this, there will be a small amount that wont.

Legends in the field, for sure. I'd read once somewhere that Roberta was the thought behind Cam Howe in Halt and Catch Fire, a damn fine show if you've never watched it.

It's on the site can't remember the name as it's been almost a decade.
There was also one from last year that was funded.

Nod, I recall that failed pitch, think I kicked in the minimum amount. I thought the pitch was rather lacking in many details from what I recall.

You've got an interesting definition of "last year", considering that was funded in 2012 (yes, they're STILL supposedly developing it). Unless you meant to link another game?

No, SpaceVenture had nothing whatsoever to do with Ken & Roberta, it was solely Two Guys from Andromeda (former Space Quest developers) who worked on that. Only after failing to deliver a complete and bug-free game a decade later, Ken tentatively offered to help them out. But what (if anything) will come of that is yet to be determined.

I didn't realize the latter pitch actually worked, I'm glad they got a win at some point. Now, let's see what gem they produce!

The remake is done, they're working on a remaster of it now, I believe.

Gosh, I remember playing the original many many moons ago. Might have to check out that remake.
