Mythos - Alpha Ends, Screens

Shacknews has news that Flagship's Mythos, their free-to-play online action/RPG lead by Travis Baldree (FATE) has completed Alpha testing and three new screens have been released.

It's a good thing the url says Mythos, otherwise I'd have assumed this was WoW.

And is everyone putting those goofy japanese donkey ears on elves these days?

I dunno, it also looks very much like Fate.

Looking like wow isn't a slight in my opinion. I actually love wow's graphics. I am not a graphics guy and few games stick out in my head as impressing me in that arena. Wiz8 still does (it just sharp), wow's, bloodlines, and thats abut all I can think of off the top of my head. I sually turn the graphics options way down to make the game run better, so usually games that are supposed to have really good graphics look like crap with everything down.

Wiz8 will probably be viewed by me as the best for a long time. Its just so sharp and clear, the reflective floors in the temple in Arnika. The visual feedback on enemy damage.

Wow's is similar in being very sharp and clear. Even with the options turned way down they are still aesthetically nice.
