Like I said in the original post, I don't take any order into account, not even tiers, it is simply too much work. Just list the games of which you are OK to receive one. Or do the opposite and list the games you don't want.
Seems a lot of work to take all that into account. Maybe work with only a blacklist (limited to 5 or 10 entries) for games people already own. Giving preferences (whitelist) I do not see as necessary in a giveaway.
But then again, I'm sure your processing of all the requests is top notch and not randomized at all
Just some stats:
- If I am not mistaken there are 83 individuals who are interested to participate
- There are 117 keys (I know the OP says 118, but there are 118 rows in my table and it has a header )
That could mean everybody gets at least one game, but that will not happen. Previous events have shown that because of naming a limited set of games, some participants will end up with nothing. Those with the least restrictions are likely to win the most games. I will try to give all keys away.
As a result there will be participants with 0, 1, 2 or 3 games.
It will take some time to get this done and I hope to have the keys send out before X-mas.
I didn't filter that properly. That actual number of participants is 79.
