My power 4 is Paladin, Ranger, Cleric, and Wizard. Make sure one can craft and one can use thieves' tools. Paladin can revivify the cleric if they go down.
The fighter can catch up with the paladin but not till level 11 when they get their 3rd attack. The paladin's smiting is just so powerful in 5e. With the clerics, 3rd level spell guardian spirits push them past the druid.
I go with wizard over sorcerer because the 1st level identify spell saves time and gold. Ranger over rogue because I always need a bow master to kill those pesky casters. First-level ranger spell Hunter's Mark is a game changer against casters and other shooters.
