Steam - Refund Policy Changed

Surely, the ease given by this policy to get refunded cant explained a surge in $2 refunds.

I remember when we used to get demos of simple games on the covers of magazines. It didn't kill them. I'd rather have the right to refund games, and indies adjust to making games with more than two hours of appeal.

I know steams official policy has been "no refunds" but they have always been pretty reasonable when it comes to the individual.
Even though Steam is my last resort for games, I have gotten 6 sizable and 2 minor refunds over the last 3 years.

Edit : Also, frontloading of games has been around forever. One of these days I'll get around to finishing my article on the irrelevance of game play length.

Games are always front-loaded.
Not always. TW3 isn't.
