Ah I see it now. I thought it was a 2-bit value with 0=off and 1=on but now it makes sense why you didn't get a slideshow with the setting at "1" if "2" is the real SuperUberUltraSampling . If "1" is really just 16x AF then the performance hit should indeed be minimal. Makes sense now.
Sorry about the confusion. I misunderstood your original post due to my wrong assumption regarding the possible settings.
My only issue right now is that I'm force to run the game in 16:9. Otherwise I get a black screen in some cinematics. It looks ok in 16:9, but I'd prefer it to use 16:10 since I'm running in 1920x1200.
Ah so it's not meant to be an artistic feature like a fade in or out with a black screen?
Dammit... here I waited over a year for them to get that EE out the door and they still can't do 16:10 right? WTF?
