MicroProse

MicroProse Software, Inc. was created in 1982 by Sid Meier and Bill Stealey. Up until its beginning demise in 1999 the company released several well known titles such as Civilization, X-Com and Master of Orion.
MicroProse was bought by Hasbro Interactive in 1998. Infogrames bought Hasbro Interactive in 2001 and MicroProse was subsequently closed.
