Black Isle
Black isle studious was a division of Interplay Entertainment. They developed many beloved RPGs such as the Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Fallout series. As well as developing the masterpiece Planescape: Torment.
In 1998 several key memebers from their first title, Fallout, left interplay to form Troika. In 2003 interplay closed down Black Isle, but by then many of the members had already moved on to form Obsidian Entertainment.
