Things you don't need to know...

I recently tried to emulate it, using a controller to keyboard adapter. And technically it ran. But it's such an annoying experience. The input adapter isn't good really, but I guess you can get used to that. But then you have to find workarounds for locking your cursor to the context of the emulation window, so that you can control character orientation, but not also operate whatever you have on your pc's desktop. And it also runs kind of iffy, even on my hardware. Doesn't really look very good. Even worse than I remember it on console. You really have to want to play it, to endure all of that.
Which emulator were you using, because I've seen YouTube videos where it it looked significantly better than the original version on PS3.

As for the input, when you try to play something using a control scheme that it wasn't meant for, it's rarely going to feel natural.

I think it was Xenia. The xbox version emulator I think. And in some footage it looked nice, but apparently you need to fiddle a lot with it to get it to run and look like that.

Ridiculous, there's no issue there. This is an Italian brand and where it's made isn't relevant (I'm sure it's written on the box). Pasta don't grow on trees in Italy, despite an old April Fools' Joke ;)

Glad to hear it. The whole business sounded like a colossal pain in the arse.

I finally got my internet back. I went nearly a month without high-speed web access after Hurricane Ian tore up the area. It feels good to be back. :)
Great news! Then you can start your Elden Ring play through now! ;)

Here are some photos I took around my town in the days immediately after the hurricane.

Here's another photo (not taken by me) that I found pretty cool. It's the local harbor in my town right before the hurricane made landfall. It's normally 5' to 20' deep with seawater. Ian drained the entire harbor as it approached before creating a storm surge.

Those are crazy pictures, to think everyone has to repair all this...

Aren't those hurricanes pushing people to leave the area?

Every year certain months are hurricane season for the US. It used to be many small less powerful ones, but lately there are less of them. They are getting stronger as well.

At this rate many should leave the beachfront, but most wont leave the states. Anyway last time a hurricane this powerful was Hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans.
Hurricane Katrina was a destructive Category 5 Atlantic hurricane that caused over 1,800 fatalities and $125 billion in damage in late August 2005.
There are parts of that city that is still abandoned.

I wish. Florida has the third largest population out of U.S. states, and people just keep moving here.

It still shows for me. *Edit* I re-uploaded it.

Two words: prepare yourselves. Okay, so before we get around to the canned variety of corned beef, let's talk about the deli version of this Irish staple. As you might expect, deli corned beef is better quality (in terms of cuts of meat, anyway) than the canned stuff. It's just cured brisket. Simple enough.

However, when it comes to canned corned beef, things start to get a bit murky. While the product certainly does contain the lean end of the brisket, no one is apparently willing to say specifically what else is mixed in there. For instance, if you look up Hormel's canned corned beef on Innit, you'll see that the label simplifies the meat mix to merely "beef." And beef, as we know, can apply to just about every scrap of meat on a cow. Stomach lining, tendons, tongue, you name it — if it's edible, it's probably going to be used for something. Sorry, but it's true.

At the end of the day, yeah, corned beef isn't for everyone, but so are a lot of other things that many people enjoy eating, like Cheez Whiz and Twinkies. The best we can do is make changes to our diet based on what we do or don't want to put into our bodies. Well, that or just continuing to eat corned beef without doing too much research into the ingredients.

I like haggis. But I mostly get the Norwegian variant: mashed lungs (and probably other tissues of the thoracic cavity) without the other parts of haggis..

pibbuR who hasn't tasted marmite or the ozzie analogue(s). And never will. Even he has standards!

That looks spooky, fully expect the Children of Atom to appear. I panic if I can hear next doors wind chimes, so I would be a quivering wreck in a full on massive storm.
