Heal, run faster, make your Arcanity spells more powerful than you can ever imagine! Mastering alchemy will be crucial in your quest to become the Hero of the Akazi stories.

A little update!

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to make a quick announcement to let you know what we're up to!

We promised to have the Steam build ready really close to the Switch launch, but after releasing on the Nintendo portable we received a lot of feedback. Most of it was great, people loved the game and the story. But at the same time some people commented on melee, and how it wasn't up to par with the rest of the game.

So we've decided to revamp melee to make it as awesome as the rest of the game.

This means the full version of Tanzia needs a little more time in the oven...

But as promised, you can access the beta build on Steam right now, and play what's practically the same content as we have on Switch!

If you want to play the beta content right now, this is what you need to do:

/On your Steam library, right click on Tanzia, select "properties".
/Go to the "Betas" tab
/On the dropdown menu select "beta"
/Close the properties window and let Tanzia update.
Now Tanzia on your library should say "Tanzia [beta]". You can start playing the beta! : )

We're really sorry about all the delays, but as you know we're only two guys working full time on Tanzia, and only one of us is a programmer!

Your elders will guide you, but it is up to you to master your skills and live up to your family's legacy. Tanzia's story design was developed in collaboration with Kevin Saunders (whose previous work includes as a senior designer on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, lead designer on Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer, and project director on Torment: Tides of Numenera).

Early Access roadmap:

• The first EA build will feature all but the last few chapters.
• The last chapters will be released during Early Access.
• We'll do small in-between updates in case of bugs.
• Players will be able to keep playing after reaching the end of each build, if they want to level up, buy gear, or finish sidequests.

Good and Bad news!

Hey everybody!

Let's start with the bad news, Tanzia won't make it into 2016. We're really sorry about this. We worked super hard to try and have it ready this year, but to make the best possible version of the game, we need a bit more time.

So right now we're looking at March as a possible release date. And as soon as we're 100% comfortable with an exact date, you're going to hear about it here!

The good news is that we're working on a free demo! Everyone will be able to have a little taste of Tanzia before the release, so stay tuned to our Twitter account (@PlayTanzia) and this page to find out about the release date and news on the demo.

Thank you all for being patient! Every extra day we put into Tanzia improves the game leaps and bounds, so please bear with us while we continue polishing this little gem (see what I did there? Gems, bears, all Tanzia related!).
