Dark Messiah: Preview @ GameDaily

GameDaily is the latest site with a broad overview preview of Dark Messiah of Might & Magic:

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is actually the second part of a trilogy. It will continue the story introduced in Heroes of Might and Magic 5 with entirely different gameplay. A title and game type for the third part hasn't been announced yet. While Heroes is a strategy game, Dark Messiah will have a first-person perspective. The player takes on the role of an apprentice who has been raised for one purpose: to fight against the necromancers so they don't have a chance to bring back the Dark Messiah. To do this, you will have to travel across Ashan, a mystical realm with a dark history which is new to the franchise. Developed by Arkane Studios, the company that created Arx Fatalis, and powered by an enhanced version of Valve's Source engine, Dark Messiah will incorporate all the fantastic graphics and physics handling that Half-Life 2 has. Arkane is taking Source to the next level of open-ended gameplay.
